I was a guest at the Delta Orlando Resort in 1991. We are saddened to hear that it was torn down. We have so much fun memories of the hotel (especially the Mickey Mouse pancakes for me!). Guess we just have pictures! I'll have to stop by the old site when I come to Florida in 2013.

Loved the site, thanks for sharing. I just last month took my grandchildren for the first time and already want to go back. Found your site seeking history of the Contemporary resort. I was not disappointed.

Wow this brings back memories. I worked at Scotty's from 1985-1994. From yard to Assistant Mgr. I started in Brooksville, then Tallahassee, Orlando for a Remod, Jacksonville, Fernandina Beach, Largo, and finished up at Seminole.

Wow! This page is great. I remember meeting Little Joe of Bonanza at Florida Wonderland when our dad took us there. We got signed autograph pictures from him. We saw the staged outdoors shoot-out (Dodge City), at this wonderful place in Titusville, Florida but it came to an early end. Even one of the boats used in the tours, (as shown), is overgrown with grass. Back in the day it was a lively place; a happy place pre-Disney. Sure wished it could come back where it belongs. Those were the days my friend! :)
